Kristine and David are the kind of people you dream of meeting and keeping your life. Their kind spirit and selfless love for others is truly inspiring. Their hugs are the absolute best if you have ever had the honor of receiving one. It is difficult to find the words to sum up this remarkable day other than it was a day filled with so much love, joy, and a few tears. Kristine and David are surrounded by incredible people who love them dearly! Kathy, Kristine’s sister said it best, Kristine is the best person to know and now she gets to share her with David. If ever you mention to Kristine, you like something, just know, she will gift it to you! Gift giving is her love language among her infectious personality and down to earth nature.
This gold and blush Oyster Farm and Eatery wedding was nothing short of magical. Not only was is gorgeous, but the heart behind everything was incredible to be a part of. Little touches that spoke to Kristine and David as a couple. The dancing and all the celebrating with their best people made for an unforgettable night. It was warm but that didn’t stop these two from having the time of their lives. I remember dancing, camera in hand, with Kristine and she whispered to me…. “I don’t want this to end!” I think that sums up what an amazing time she was having, dancing around her in gorgeous dress and truly embracing the fun that is Kristine.
These two had their first date at Dumars and from there out, they have been inseparable. They are the perfect balance. Kristine is outgoing and has this beautiful way about her and David compliments her so well with his quite nature yet comforting way about him. Watching these two all night brings tears to my eyes. Any time, Kristine would get teary, David would console her with a soft hug and a look that just melts your heart. They share this bond that I don’t think happened by chance, but a bond that was meant to be all along.
To be apart of this wedding weekend was nothing short of an honor. From my families involvement, my sister in law was in the wedding, my Mom did the florals and helped with decor at the reception, and us capturing their day, it was more than a blessing. Katie’s mom was a blessing as well! It was wonderful being vendors at the venue where we got married, so it was extra special that my hubs second shot for me! I am a total sap so these two and this wedding had me feeling all the feels… I can’t count the number of times I cried behind my camera.
The heart and emotion filled this beautiful day but a very special person was missing, Kristine’s Dad. Even though he wasn’t present, his spirit was felt throughout the whole day. Surely missed but I believe that sunshine was all him and he was looking down with pride as one of his girls promised forever to the guy of her dreams.
To Kristine and David, may your lives be filled with songs you make up together, all the puppy kisses to ease your troubles and just make life fun, beach days, and adventures big and small. May you keep your friends and family close and remember this day as you were surrounded by your people, cheering you on and wishing you all the best wishes in the world. Continue to date, love one another, put your marriage first, and remember, these are the best days of your lives… build your together and you can’t go wrong! I am so happy for you both!!!
