It is not often you hear 5 incredible speeches back to back at a wedding. From Sidney’s father to their best people in their wedding, all spoke high praises of the foundation they both have built and the people they are together. Her father put it best, love is like building a house. Your parents start the framework and build the foundation. You put the walls up and have to maintain over the years. It takes work and lots of sweat and tears, but it is all worth the build and journey together. These two are such giving hearts and have old souls you don’t come across often.
This Outer Banks Classic Beach House Wedding gave me all the feels. The heartfelt touches and the absolute love and support that surrounds these two. Everyone was so amazing and make us feel like family. We were greeted with hugs and love and by the end of the night, I just wanted to be adopted by both of these loving families.
They wanted a laid back wedding with their closest friends and family. They got just that on the most perfect of fall days. They had a great week hanging with all their loved ones and made for one great party week.
Sidney and Jake are some of the most heartfelt and genuine people I have the now pleasure of knowing. Sharing a love for dogs, the beach and especially the Outer Banks, and of course Firefighters… Sidney and I clicked right from the start. What an honor it was to capture their wedding day and freeze these moments for them.
Special Thanks to the vendors and family that made their day happen!
