This MOCA Burgundy and Gold Classic Fall Wedding was nothing short of magical! From day one, Taylor and Pete knew that the heart of the day mattered more than anything else. They put time, love, and thought into curating their vows and celebrating with their friends and family. A day to remember not just because it was beautiful but because the love that is shared between these two and all the love that surrounds them. It was said multiple times throughout the night that these two light up a room as they enter. They both have passionate and caring spirits that make people gravitate to them. Taylor has a smile that truly invites happiness and Pete has this calming way about him, you naturally feel comfortable. Together they are building a life that matters. A life to which they can do anything they want. Their vows had parallels between the two in that they choose to be each other’s rock EVERYDAY, not just on their wedding day or when the days are nothing short of perfect. But they choose to be there no matter what. They choose to be by each other’s side when the going gets tough and they will show up anyway. Marriage is hard but what is more powerful than anything is the commitment to build a life together. A life that is beautiful, full of adventure, and full of the trials of life. Taylor and Pete know what is means to love hard and they know what they want their future to look like no matter what comes their way. With Boone their Golden Retriever by their side, wine and cheese always, and all the adventures a long the way, these two are sure to a have a meaningful life together that brings them so much joy!
Taylor and Pete incorporated much of what they love to do for their wedding day. They are foodies and love nothing more than enjoying some wine with a good cheese bar. Yummy Goodness created a Fire Seared Antipasto Bar just for them and it looked incredible. As I watched these two dance and enjoy their reception surrounded by their closest people, I realized how lucky I am to be able to capture these moments for my couples. Pete came up to me as he watched his bride have the best time with her girls and he said, look at her… look at how happy she is. That friends is what it is about. Pure joy as you start marriage through life together. This day was incredible to be a part of and I feel like the lucky one to share these images for Taylor and Pete!
Special shout out to the vendors who helped make their day unforgettable! Also thank you to Elizabeth Henson for second shooting for me!
