Back Bay Maternity Alena + John

I met Alena and John at their wedding while I was second shooting for my dear friend Brooke.  Brooke and Alena grew up together and it was so amazing being able to help Brooke with the wedding.  We were treated just like family! They had such a beautiful day in Charlottesville at the Clifton Inn.  They both are so heart warming and welcoming people! I instantly fell in love with them and their families.  I have had the honor of shooting Alena’s brother’s engagements and I naturally was so honored when Alena contacted me for Maternity photos.  These two are just so comfortable to be around and always are a ton of fun! I loved this rainy summer Back Bay Maternity Session!

Back Bay Maternity Session

Alena + John

We had a little scare on the weather but choose to tough it out and I am so glad we did.  We somehow lucked out to be between two storm clouds and we barely got rained on.  The light was beautiful and we had the beach to ourselves.  We laughed in the drizzle and chatted about what is to come as these two embark on the greatest adventure, parenthood.  Alena and John are avid travelers and I always love watching their adventures to far away lands.  I just know this baby girl due in October is going to be a well traveled little lady with parents that have hearts of gold.

Congratulations Alena and John!! I hope I look as stunning as you when I am one day pregnant.  Isn’t she glowing? I mean so so beautiful! This baby girl is going to be one good looking kid with parents like these!

This is either yay… we made a baby or yay photos are done 🙂 Love you guys!
