I always hesitate posting these for various reasons but making our house a home is something I LOVE to do. It takes time, dedication, and lots of blood, sweat (well, my husband does most of the sweating), and tears! We have so much of our hearts in our home. When it comes to Christmas, I want it to still feel like our home so over the years, I have collected things here and there, a lot of times after Christmas when the sales are good. It pepper the house with some coastal christmas flair while still keeping true to our style. This year I kept it somewhat simple. We are replacing the carpet so we have to move everything from the bedrooms to the other areas of the house in order to prep. So this is what it looked like before we started moving things around. We opted to get a fake tree as we knew having a big real tree would be a pain in the great room with all we have going on with some house renovations. I found a tree at Target on Black Friday and got a great deal. It is slim and perfect for our sunroom.
I hope you like a peek in our Coastal Christmas. If we can’t make it to the beach everyday, might as well make it feel like the beach at home… our safe haven.
I hope your Christmas is filled with all the things that make your heart happy but most of all the people that suround you. That give you life and make your belly hurt from laughing. Cheers to time well spent with family and friends this holiday season.
